The Philosophy Department of Rice University, in collaboration with the Philosophy Department of the University of Houston, is delighted to announce the 2023 Graduate Student Conference. This collaborative event aims to explore the fascinating field of “Moral Psychology“. The conference provides an excellent platform for graduate students to share their research and scholarly contributions. We cordially invite all graduate students to submit papers on various topics within the realm of Moral Psychology, including but not limited to mind and value, moral motivation, philosophy of emotion, and moral responsibility.

Our primary objective is to showcase the innovative and impactful work of graduate students. By providing this opportunity, we aim to foster academic growth and recognition, highlighting the valuable contributions of emerging scholars in the field.

We enthusiastically encourage active participation from all attendees, fostering an environment that nurtures rich discussions and exchanges of ideas.
